Here’s the LATEST Farm Update
(read next paragraph for general hours):
- Monday’s Pick-Your-Own Timeslots SOLD OUT – no walk-ins available.
- NO FRESH PICKED STRAWBERRIES AVAILABLE TODAY (we’re catching up with our wholesale orders – so sorry!) Scroll down for more Fresh Picked Strawberry info.
- Tuesday the farm will be closed due to the forecasted 75% chance of rain.
- Wednesday’s Pick-Your-Own Timeslots are now released.
- Inclement Weather: We don’t pick if it’s a really rainy day. And often the weather in our Slate River Valley is quite different than the weather in town. And if it looks like systems will miss us, we’ll always go ahead with a pick: when the berries are ripe, they need picking! However, sometimes we get it wrong, and if it rains and you aren’t able to pick, we’ll refund your Field Entrance Fee.
How Our Strawberry Season Hours Work:
- Our Pick Your Fields are open mornings only from 9am to 12pm. We try our best to offer a few evening picks throughout the season, but this is determined by weather and ripening. Please keep in touch with this page for evening pick offerings – we’ll also announce them on Instagram, Facebook & Bluesky.
- Our Belluz Farm Stand (with Fresh Picked Produce) is open from 9am to 4pm every day during strawberry season. However, this is weather dependent, so please double check this page to confirm.
How to Book Your Pick Your Own Timeslot:
- We require pickers to book a timeslot ahead of their visit so that we can control the number of pickers we have in the fields at one time: making sure the strawberries ripe and ready match the number of pickers in the field :). If you don’t have a timeslot booked, and our fields are full, you may not be able to pick.
- Timeslots are released a maximum of 48hrs in advance of a picking day.
- When you book, you’ll pay a Field Entrance Fee of $13/adult for every person entering our fields. This fee is non-refundable BUT deductible from the total cost of the berries you pick.
- Children over 3yrs need their own booking as well. Our Kids Field Entrance Fee is $5/child and includes a wagon ride, the kids play area and animal viewing area, the picking experience itself, of course, TONS of photos opportunities, and a cute, little Kids’ Size Basket that they can fill, eat and fill again to bring home. This is a non-deductible fee.
Pick Your Own Strawberry Pricing
- Pick Your Own Strawberries are $6.50/Litre (a 4L basket is $26 and a 3L basket is $19.50)
- Volume pricing is available: 16+Litres (4 or more 4L baskets) is $6/Litre
Pick Your Own Containers/Baskets
- We highly encourage you to bring your own containers to pick in, HOWEVER, those containers must be marked in a Litre volume by the manufacturer. Containers marked in cups work too – we can easily convert that to Litres.
- We also have 4L baskets for sale for $3 each (HST included). Keep them and bring them back year after year.
2025 Seasons Pass Holder’s Info:
- We sell a limited number of Seasons Passes each spring. You can find more information about the pass HERE.
- If you are a 2025 Seasons Pass Holder, please come and pick whenever we are open: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BOOK A TIMESLOT AHEAD OF YOUR VISIT.
- We have a master list of Seasons Pass Holders here at the farm and will check you in and get you out to the fields!
Fresh Picked (Ready Picked) Strawberry Info:
- Belluz Farm Stand Info: There will be NO Fresh Picked Strawberries available on MONDAY (we’re having to catch up with wholesale orders – so sorry!). We have LOTS of other wonderful local veggies, though! Weather permitting, we’ll have Fresh Picked Strawberries available WEDNESDAY at 1pm.

Farm Refreshment Stand:
- Stop by our Refreshment Stand after picking for a cold drink and a sweet treat! We have our famous Belluz Farms Strawberry Lemonade, The County Bounty Ontario Sodas, Harmon’s Non-Alcoholic Beer and a fantastic selection of cookies, bars, scones and more from Dawson General Store Bakery.
Pet Policy:
- Although we love our furry family members, unfortunately pets are not permitted here at the farm. It’s a food safety issues in our picking fields, and a safety issue in our animal viewing and kids play area. It’s also really hot (dangerous) for pets to wait in cars. Please leave your furry family member at home where they’ll be safe and sound.
- Specifically trained, Service Dogs are OF COURSE very welcome!
