NEW! Update for Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at 9:44am

Fresh Tip of the day:  Do a TASTE test as you pick.  The best berries are fully red, not orange-y red, with NO white or green.  We encourage you to taste our berries!   And it warms our hearts to see kids with strawberry juice staining their shirts and dripping down their chins.  But please do remember that it’s “tasting”  we encourage for adults (not grown-up belly filling).  It’s your support through purchasing our fruit that has kept our family farm going for 3 generations 🙂

Our Pick Your Own Strawberry Fields will be closed for ripening on Wednesday.    We had a HUGE crowd out Tuesday night (thank you, thank you, Thunder Bay & Area!) and the fields have been picked out.  We hope to be open again on Thursday morning from 9am to 12pm AND Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 – but check in with us Wednesday night to confirm.

The Farm Store will be open from 9am to 4pm  with wonderful local, regional and Ontario food – like just in Sweet Ontario Cherries!  We will NOT have Fresh Picked Strawberries in the Farm Store today.  Hoping to have more for you again tomorrow (Thursday) but double check with this message or our Farm Info Line:  475 5181 to check availability of berries.

There will be some light, first of the season Saskatoon picking available on Wednesday!  PYO peas just may start by Saturday – keep in touch for updates.  Beans and other ass’t garden veg should be ready in 7 days or so.

The Harvest Cafe will also be open from 9am to 4pm with scrumptious handmade baking from The Bakeshop on Boundary, over-the-top cinnamon buns from Northern Unique, as well as ice cream, homemade strawberry lemonade, “The Real Deal” Strawberry Sundaes, and our famous Belluz Family Strawberry Shortcakes.

The “Pick Your Own” experience is a bit unique in that our Pick Your Own availability can change due to weather, ripening or simply if we’ve had a big crowd here, and, therefore, our fields our picked out.  That’s why we always suggest (even though we do set a “Pick Your Own” schedule of hours) that you call our info line:  475 5181 or check in with these updates for DAILY picking conditions.

Our Schedule of Pick Your Own Hours (subject to Mother Nature)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am to 12pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm
Saturday from 9am to 1pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm

Our Farm Store Regular Hours
Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm
(and the Farm Store opens with the evenings picks as available)

At the farm we accept debit, VISA and Mastercard, however, as a small business, we sure do appreciate it when you are able to use cash or debit.

For those of you looking for information on the Little Red Barn:  We are certainly hoping there will be enough yield this year to be at the Little Red Barn with berries and vegetables.  At this point, it doesn’t look like we’ll be starting at the Little Red Barn until the last week of July.  But do keep in touch, because if things change we will definitely post the information here on our Farm Updates page and have it on our info line as well:  475 5181

We know your furry family members love to take a drive out to the country, however, due to health and safety concerns for both humans and our farm animals, we cannot have any pets in the Pick Your Own fields, the Farm Store, the Greenhouse or the Children’s Play Area.
