NEW Update For Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 at 1:45pm

Well, it looks like we’re in for some cool, rainy weather, which unfortunately doesn’t ripen strawberries!  The Pick Your Own Fields will be closed for ripening on Wednesday.

We are now SOLD OUT of Fresh Picked Strawberries for the day.  However, the Farm Store remains open until 4pm with great local, regional and Ontario food items.  And, although, the BBQ won’t be running, the Harvest Cafe will have scrumptious handmade baking from The Bakeshop on Boundary as well as ice cream, homemade strawberry lemonade, “The Real Deal” Strawberry Sundaes, and our  famous Belluz Family Strawberry Shortcakes.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, we are currently planning on an evening pick from 6:30 to 8:30pm.  BUT we are also watching the weather – so please check in with this message or our Farm Info Line:  475 5181 tomorrow morning to confirm picking times.

Our Pea season should start in about 5 to 7 days, the Saskatoon season should start in about 1 week and then beans and other garden veg should be ready in 10 days or so.

The “Pick Your Own” experience is a bit unique in that our Pick Your Own availability can change due to weather, ripening or simply if we’ve had a big crowd here, and, therefore, our fields our picked out.  That’s why we always suggest (even though we do set a “Pick Your Own” schedule of hours) that you call our info line:  475 5181 or check in with these updates for DAILY picking conditions.

Our Schedule of Pick Your Own Hours (subject to Mother Nature)
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am to 12pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm
Saturday from 9am to 1pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm

Our Farm Store Regular Hours
Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm
(and the Farm Store opens with the evenings picks as available)

At the farm we accept debit, VISA and Mastercard, however, as a small business, we sure do appreciate it when you are able to use cash or debit.

For those of you looking for information on the Little Red Barn:  We are certainly hoping there will be enough yield this year to be at the Little Red Barn with berries and vegetables.  At this point, it doesn’t look like we’ll be starting at the Little Red Barn until July 18th or 19th.  But do keep in touch, because if things change we will definitely post the information here on our Farm Updates page and have it on our info line as well:  475 5181

We know your furry family members love to take a drive out to the country, however, due to health and safety concerns for both humans and our farm animals, we cannot have any pets in the Pick Your Own fields, the Farm Store, the Greenhouse or the Children’s Play Area.
