We will have light raspberry, pea and bean picking available again on Wednesday morning from 9am to 12pm, but the pickling cucumber patch will still remain closed for ripening on Wednesday. At this point, the weather doesn’t look great for Thursday, so our next pickling cucumber pick just may be Friday morning. Keep in touch – and thank you for your patience as we work alongside mother nature.
The Farm Store will be open Wednesday from 9am to 4pm.
From our Farm, we will have: Greenhouse-grown slicing cucumbers, new potatoes, freshly picked garlic, dill weed, young beets, young carrots, and garlic scapes.
From our Small-Scale, Sustainable, Ontario Farm Partners, we will have: Peaches, Cherries, Apricots, and Red, Blue, Yellow & Golden Plums
Upcoming Crops: Sweet Corn may be ready by the 3rd week of August! Keep in touch for updated information.
There is some construction happening on Hwy 130, especially if you head out to the farm from Hwy 11/17 or Arthur Street. We suggest taking Hwy 61 South (towards the US border) to Hwy 130. Turn right onto Hwy 130. Turn left onto Candy Mountain Drive and we’re just down the road on your right hand side.
The “Pick Your Own” experience is a bit unique in that our Pick Your Own availability can change due to weather, ripening or simply if we’ve had a big crowd here, and, therefore, our fields are picked out. That’s why we always suggest (even though we do set a “Pick Your Own” schedule of hours) that you call our info line: 475 5181 or check in with these updates for DAILY picking conditions.
For the month of August, the farm will be closed on Mondays.
Our Schedule of Pick Your Own Hours (subject to Mother Nature)
Wednesday, Friday from 9am to 12pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm
Saturday from 9am to 1pm
Sunday from 12pm to 4pm
Our Farm Store Regular Hours

(and the Farm Store opens with the evenings picks as available)
At the farm we accept debit, VISA and Mastercard, however, as a small business, we sure do appreciate it when you are able to use cash or debit.
For those of you looking for information on the Little Red Barn: There simply wasn’t enough yield from our strawberry fields to have strawberries for you at the Little Red Barn this year. Our apologies! It was a bit of a challenging year for strawberries. HOWEVER! We are certainly hoping there will be enough yield this year to be at the Little Red Barn with our VEGGIES including peas, beans, carrots, beets, potatoes and eventually sweet corn and cucumbers. At this point, though, it doesn’t look like we’ll be starting at the Little Red Barn until Sweet Corn season. But do keep in touch, because if things change we will definitely post the information here on our Farm Updates page and have it on our info line as well: 475 5181
We know your furry family members love to take a drive out to the country, however, due to health and safety concerns for both humans and our farm animals, we cannot have any pets in the Pick Your Own fields, the Farm Store, the Greenhouse or the Children’s Play Area
