Update for Thursday, September 21st, 2017

We’ll be at the Little Red Barn today!  Located in the parking lot of Home Hardware on Memorial Avenue.  We’ll be open there from 11am to 4pm with our Scrumptious Sweet Corn and ass’t garden veggies.  Fresh Picked peas and cucumbers are no longer available.

Back here at the farm, we’re open here this week from Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.

I will have next week’s hours (September 25th to the 29th) posted ASAP – we will have decreased hours next week as we transform the farm into our Fall Wonderland! (Open Wknds only starting with the last weekend in September)

Our Pickling Cucumber patch will be open for picking Thursday afternoon.  Both Dill Size and Bread n ‘ Butter Size will be available for picking, but it will be on the light side for picking. We will also have light picking in the sugar snap peas and light picking in the yellow and green beans.

Expected Produce In the Farm Store Thursday:  Sweet Corn, slicing cucumbers, eggplants, new potatoes, beets, tomatoes, carrots, garlic, dill weed,  summer squash and zucchini, yellow and green beans, and a nice ass’t of garden veggies now.  Fresh Picked Pickling Cucumbers will not be available.

The Amazing Corn Maze is now open to explore (during Farm hours)! $1 from each $5 (HST included) admission is donated to the United Way of Thunder Bay. Just check in with our staff in the Farm Store to pay your admission and to let us know you’ll be heading into the maze.

At the farm we accept debit, VISA and Mastercard, however, as a small business, we sure do appreciate it when you are able to use cash or debit.

We know your furry family members love to take a drive out to the country, however, due to health and safety concerns for both humans and our farm animals, we cannot have any pets in the Pick Your Own fields, the Farm Store, the Greenhouse or the Children’s Play Area. We appreciate your understanding.
