Update for Friday, September 25th AND Saturday, September 26th

We are closed here on Friday,  but our last pick of sweet corn is available at our self-serve stand at the end of our driveway – cash only.

It’s Fall Wonderland time here at the farm and we’ll be open weekends only from 11am to 5pm (including Thanksgiving Monday) right up to and including October 31st.  Our Farm Store will be stocked with lots of wonderful harvest veggies and on Saturday we will have sweet corn available.

Also, this Saturday, September the 26th we are SO excited to be hosting the Thunder Bay District Giant Pumpkin Growers Annual Pumpkin Mania.  Come and watch their annual giant pumpkin weigh off and giant pumpkin car smash!  Admission on to the farm is always free with small fees for some the activities you choose to do.   Activities with fees include:  Our Farm Wagon Tour (with a stop at the mystical “Straw-Henge” and Pumpkin Bowling), our Hiding Pumpkin Hunt, our 3-Acre Amazing Corn Maze, Pumpkin Ring Toss and Pony Rides.  Free activities include:  our children’s play area, our petting zoo, our kids craft area and, of course, family photo opportunities with lots and lots of pumpkins!

Our Harvest Café will be serving up local baking, homemade chili and soup with local meat and veggies, local hot apple cider, hot chocolate, fair trade coffee and tea and natural, cold fizzy sodas.  Unfortunately, local hot dogs from our BBQ will not be available this first weekend – we are waiting for our supply to arrive.  Local hot dogs will be available on the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.

Our Farm Store will be full of harvest veggies and there’s lots of farm grown fall décor for sale including corn stalks, straw bales, decorator squash, pumpkins and gourds.   Seasons in the Country and stocked up their home and gift corner with some beautiful autumn touches for your home.

We accept debit and all major credit cards, it does help speed along our sometimes busy check-out line when you are able to pay cash.  We know your four-legged family members sure love have a drive out to the country, however, for food and safety reasons, unfortunately pets are not allowed on the farm during the fall season.
