Our Pick Your Own Strawberry Fields will be open for a light picking (that means good for a basket or two per person – but probably best to wait a day or two for large volume picking). We will also have light Saskatoon picking available Always double check in with us on our Farm Info Line: 475 5181 right before you head out to the farm to confirm that the weather hasn’t changed our “best laid” plans.
The Farm Store will be open from 9am to 4pm with wonderful local, regional and Ontario food – like just in Gooseberries. We are expecting to have Fresh Picked Strawberries in the Farm Store by 11am – just check in with our Farm Info Line: 475 5181 right before you head out to the farm to double check availability.
PYO peas just may start by Saturday or Sunday – keep in touch for updates. Beans and other ass’t garden veg should be ready in 7 days or so.
The Harvest Cafe will also be open from 9am to 4pm with scrumptious handmade baking from The Bakeshop on Boundary, over-the-top cinnamon buns from Northern Unique, as well as ice cream, homemade strawberry lemonade, “The Real Deal” Strawberry Sundaes, and our famous Belluz Family Strawberry Shortcakes. For those of you looking for information on the Little Red Barn: We are certainly hoping there will be enough yield this year to be at the Little Red Barn with berries and vegetables. At this point, it doesn’t look like we’ll be starting at the Little Red Barn until the last week of July. But do keep in touch, because if things change we will definitely post the information here on our Farm Updates page and have it on our info line as well: 475 5181
We know your furry family members love to take a drive out to the country, however, due to health and safety concerns for both humans and our farm animals, we cannot have any pets in the Pick Your Own fields, the Farm Store, the Greenhouse or the Children’s Play Area.
