We will be open on Tuesday from 9am to 4pm. Our pick your own session will be Tuesday morning from 9am to 12pm. We will have pick your own cucumbers, both dill and bread n’ butter size available. We will also have light picking available in the beans, the peas and very, very, light, end of the season picking in the raspberry patch.
In the Farm Store, we will have our scrumptious sweet corn as well as a great selection of garden veggies including fresh picked carrots, beets, a limited supply of dill, garlic, new potatoes, beans, cabbage, wild blueberries and wild chanterelle mushrooms. We may have Fresh Picked cucumbers, it will depend on how the picking goes – just check in with this message by Monday evening to confirm.
We always recommend that you give this line a quick call JUST before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change the availability of our produce and we do update this message as soon as we can.
The amazing maze is now open to explore during farm hours. This year’s design is in celebration of 4-H Canada’ s 100 year anniversary. $1 from each $5 admission is donated to the United Way of Thunder Bay (HST included). Just check in with our staff in the Farm Store to pay your admission and let us know you’ll be heading into the maze.
We are aiming to be at our Little Red Barn (located in the parking lot of Home Hardware) on Thursday and Friday by 11am with Sweet Corn and much of the same produce as we’ll have in our Farm Store. Just check in with this message Thursday and Friday morning to confirm.
