We will be open here on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm and closed on Monday. You can pick your own cucumbers, however, it’s definitely light picking for dill size cucs – a bit better for bread n’ butter size. We will also have light picking available in the beans, and end of the season light picking in the peas.
In the Farm Store, we will have a fantastic supply of our scrumptious sweet corn as well as a great selection of garden veggies including fresh picked carrots, beets, dill weed, garlic, new potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, swiss chard, wild blueberries, wild chanterelle, wild porcini mushrooms and Fresh Picked bread n’ butter size cucumbers in 3L baskets. We are sold out of Fresh Picked dill size cucs and yellow and green beans. You can check in on Tuesday to see availability for both. Peas are finished now for the season.
The amazing maze is now open to explore during farm hours. This year’s design is in celebration of 4-H Canada’ s 100 year anniversary. $1 from each $5 admission is donated to the United Way of Thunder Bay (HST included). Just check in with our staff in the Farm Store to pay your admission and let us know you’ll be heading into the maze.
We always recommend that you give our Farm Hotline: 475 5181 a quick call JUST before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change the availability of our produce and we do update this message as soon as we can.
