The Farm will be open from 12pm to 4pm. We will have pick your own cucumbers, both dill and bread n’ butter size available. We will also have light picking available in the beans, the peas and very, very, light, end of the season picking in the raspberry patch.
In the Farm Store, we are sold out of sweet corn and fresh picked cucumbers for the weekend – we had a great crowd out on Friday and Saturday. More sweet corn to come on Tuesday – check in with this message for confirmation. After those big crowds, we will have a nice, but smaller selection of garden veggies available including fresh picked carrots, beets, a limited supply of dill, garlic, new potatoes, beans, cabbage, wild blueberries and wild chanterelle mushrooms.
We always recommend that you give our Farm Hotline: 475 5181 aquick call JUST before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change the availability of our produce and we do update that message as soon as we can.
The amazing maze is now open to explore during farm hours. This year’s design is in celebration of 4-H Canada’ s 100 year anniversary. $1 from each $5 admission is donated to the United Way of Thunder Bay (HST included). Just check in with our staff in the Farm Store to pay your admission and let us know you’ll be heading into the maze.
