weather and availability at the farm.

Saturday, Aug 1st at 11:25am

Our Pick Your Own Fields will be open from 9am to 1pm with the Farm Store remaining open until 4pm. We’ll have good strawberry excellent pea, good Saskatoon and light bean picking available. The raspberry patch will closed for ripening. There’s about 5 days or so left to the strawberry season. This means that there still is amazingly sweet and tasty berries to pick, but the size of the fruit does start to get a bit smaller now and it will take just a bit longer now to fill your baskets.

In the Farm Store we already have a line up of folks waiting for our strawberries to come off the fields and we will be sold out of Fresh Picked Strawberries in just a few minutes. BUT! We do have a good supply of Fresh picked peas, beans, fresh carrots, beets, dill, new potatoes and salad greens and wonderful wild chanterelle mushrooms

We will not be at the Thunder Bay Country Market on Saturday.

Looking ahead to Sunday, all of our Pick Your Own fields, including raspberries, and our Farm Store will be open from 12pm to 4pm. You can check in with this message Sunday morning for availability of Fresh Picked Produce in the Farm Store. The Farm will be closed on the Civic Holiday Monday.

We always recommend that you give this line a quick call JUST before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change the availability of our produce and we do update this message as soon as we can.

At the farm we accept debit, credit card, personal cheque and cash, of course. We sure do appreciate when you are able to use cash or personal cheque – in fact – we have a separate line up outside for that during strawberry season to get you through a bit quicker.

Due to food safety concerns, pets are not allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we do appreciate your understanding.
