July 11th, 2015 Update

Our PYO Strawberry Fields will be open from 9am to 1pm with our Farm Store remaining open until 4pm. It’s going to be a true summer morning, so bring your sun hats, sun screen and refillable water bottles. We will have Fresh Picked Strawberries in the Farm Store. If you can’t make it out first thing in the morning just our Hotline:  475 5181 a quick call to check on availability of both the pick your own and fresh picked strawberries.

In fact, we always recommend that you give our Farm Hotline a call just before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change our hours and I do change that message quite frequently to let you know what’s going on.

At the farm we accept debit, credit card, personal cheque and cash, of course. We sure do appreciate when you are able to use cash or personal cheque – in fact – we have an outside separate line up for that during strawberry season to get you through a bit quicker.

Due to food safety concerns, pets are not allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we do appreciate your understanding.

We had a smaller Picking Crew out that expected on Friday, so we did not get off enough berries to bring berries to the Thunder Bay Country Market on Saturday.  We apologize for the in convenience.  We are planning on being at our Little Red Barn in the parking lot of Home Hardware on Memorial Avenue on Thursday and Friday next week and at the Thunder Bay Country Market next Saturday – check back for confirmation.
