Happy Halloween! And Storage Veggie/Farm Share Update

Happy Halloween from all of us here at the farm.  Our Fall Wonderland is open today from 11am to 5pm.  We will be closed on Sunday November 1st.  Our Farm Store will be open again for one last Saturday on November 7th from 12pm to 5pm – we’ll have our harvest veggies available as well as unwashed storage vegetables and our 2016 Farm Shares.

Admission on to the farm is always free with small fees for the activities you choose to do.

Activities with fees include:

  • Our Farm Wagon Tour with a stop at the mystical “Straw-Henge” and Pumpkin Bowling – $4 (HST included)
  • Our Hiding Pumpkin Hunt- $4/pumpkin
  • Our 3-Acre Amazing Corn Maze – $5 (HST included with $1 donated to United Way)
  • Barnyard Friends’ Petting Zoo – $2 (HST included)
  • Barnyard Friends’ Pony Rides – $8 (HST included).

Activities with suggested $2 donation to United Way include:

  • Kids Kraft Area
  • Pumpkin Ring Toss

Free activities include:  our children’s play area, and, of course, family photo opportunities with lots and lots of pumpkins!

Our Harvest Café serves up local baking, homemade chili and soup with local meat and veggies, local hot dogs on the BBQ, local hot apple cider, hot chocolate, fair trade coffee and tea and natural, cold fizzy sodas.

Our Farm Store is full of harvest veggies and there’s lots of farm grown fall décor for sale including corn stalks, straw bales, decorator squash, pumpkins and gourds.   Seasons in the Country and stocked up their home and gift corner with some beautiful autumn touches for your home.

We accept debit and all major credit cards, it does help speed along our sometimes busy check-out line when you are able to pay cash.  We are a smoke-free facility. We know your four-legged family members sure love have a drive out to the country, however, for food and safety reasons, unfortunately pets are not allowed on the farm during the fall season
