Friday, August 7th UPDATE

Our Pick Your Own Raspberry Patch will be closed for ripening on Friday – we had a good crowd out Thursday night – we will re-open the Raspberries for picking on Saturday.  On Friday we will be open here from 9am to 4pm and we will have end of the season Saskatoon picking and good picking in the peas and the yellow and green beans.  The strawberry season has now sadly come to an end and that does also mean that our wagons are no longer running.  Wagon rides will be back on the weekends in October for our Fall Wonderland festivities.

In the Farm Store we will have fresh picked carrots, beets, kale, salad greens, herbs, dill, new potatoes, peas, beans and a great supply of wild chanterelle mushrooms.  Fresh Picked Strawberries are no longer available as the season has come to an end and due to a bit of a low yield this year in the raspberries, Fresh Picked raspberries will not be available.

We always recommend that you give our Farm Hotline: 475 5181 a quick call JUST before you head out to the farm as the size of crowds, weather and ripening can change the availability of our produce and we do update this message as soon as we can.

At the farm we accept debit, credit card, personal cheque and cash, of course.  We sure do appreciate when you are able to use cash or personal cheque.

Due to food safety concerns, pets are not allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we do appreciate your understanding.

We are planning to be at our Little Red Barn (Home Hardware parking lot on Memorial Avenue) on Friday at 11am, however, that will depend on whether the rain holds off to allow us to pick enough in the morning to come in to the Little Red Barn – check in with our Farm Hotline: 475 5181 by 10am to confirm availability at the Barn.
