Our Pick Your Own Fields will be open Thursday morning from 9am to 12pm – we will not have evening picking available Thursday evening. For on Thursday morning, we will have good picking in the cucumber patch, all sizes, great picking in the pea patch and the yellow and green bean patch. The raspberry season has now finished.
The Farm Store will be open from 9am to 4pm. There will not be any Sweet Corn available on Thursday. We’re off to a bit of a slow start with the corn ripening…it will be a little touch and go over the next few days. We’ll be back picking again Friday morning, but I would suggest just keeping touch each day for corn availability. But in the Farm Store on Thursday, we will have wild blueberries, a limited supply of Fresh Picked dill size cucumbers and a good supply of Bread n’ Butter size cucumbers. We also have garlic, dill, new potatoes, peas, beans, kohlorabi, eggplant, summer squash, carrots, heirloom coloured beets, and just a nice selection of garden veggies. If you are looking specifically for red beets, we should have a solid supply perhaps by the weekend – we’re just trying to catch up on our harvesting.
We are a smoke-free facility. And due to food safety concerns, unfortunately pets aren’t allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we appreciate your understanding. It’s probably best to leave them at home where they’ll be somewhere cool and comfortable.
Here at the farm we accept debit and all major credit cards, but as a small business, we sure do appreciate it when you are able to use cash or personal cheque for your purchases – just to help us avoid those pesky debit and credit card fees.
