Our Pick Your Own fields are open here until 1pm. We will have a very first pick in our cucumber patch!! Mostly dill size cucs available for picking(and some decent picking too!) but we’ll have a little bit of bread n’ butter size too if you’d like to get that first batch going! Dill and garlic are available in the Farm Store as well.
The raspberry patch is now completely full of pickers – so we’re pretty much picked out. But if you wanted to just pick a bit for fresh eating, you could certainly give it a go. We also have good pea picking available (both shelling and sugar snap) and good picking in the yellow and green beans.
The Farm Store is open until 4pm. Fresh Picked raspberries will not be available this year (due to that decreased yield), but will have fresh picked peas both shelling and sugar snap, new potatoes, beans, baby beets, baby carrots, wild chanterelle mushrooms and an ass’t of garden veggies.
Our Sweet Corn season will start likely the 3rd week of August.
Due to food safety concerns, unfortunately pets aren’t allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we do appreciate your understanding on that matter.
At the farm we accept debit, credit card, personal cheque and cash, of course. But as a small business, we sure do appreciate when you are able to use cash or personal cheque to help us avoid those pesky credit card and debit fees.
You can also find us on Saturday morning at the Thunder Bay Country Market. During the CLE the Thunder Bay Country Market is located at the Moose Hall on Fort William Road and runs from 8am to 1pm.
