The Farm will be closed on Mondays for the remainder of the summer and September. Looking ahead to Tuesday, they are calling for some rain and possible thunderstorms so…we’ll have to wait until late Monday afternoon to decide if our pick your own fields will be open in the morning from 9am to 12pm or in the evening from 6:30 to 8:30pm. And as long as we can work around any possible rain Tuesday, for picking we’ll have light picking in the raspberry patch (the picking will always be light for raspberries as we have a decreased yield this year), good picking in the cucumber patch for dill and bread n’ butter size cucumbers, good picking in the peas and good picking in the yellow and green beans.
But for certain, the Farm Store will be open on Tuesday from 9am to 4pm and then again with the evening pick if available. Fresh Picked raspberries will not be available this year (due to a decreased yield in the patch), but will have fresh picked shelling peas, new potatoes, yellow and green beans, baby beets, baby carrots, greenhouse heirloom tomatoes and a nice ass’t of garden veggies.
Our Sweet Corn season will start likely the 3rd week of August.
Due to food safety concerns, unfortunately pets aren’t allowed into the pick your own fields or any of the buildings on site and we do appreciate your understanding on that matter.
At the farm we accept debit, credit card, personal cheque and cash, of course. But as a small business, we sure do appreciate when you are able to use cash or personal cheque to help us avoid those pesky credit card and debit fees.
